This includes providing you with information related to your searches and past licence purchases, as well as profile-related information, including information about changes to our privacy policy, terms and conditions, price list and any other conditions. We also process this data to provide you with content, products and offerings tailored to your needs, thereby making the experience of our website even more interesting for you. Finally, we process this data for data analysis, audits, developing new products, improving our services and offerings, identifying usage trends and determining the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns.
The legal basis for the data processing associated with this is the performance of the agreement for the provision of your profile (Art. 6 para. 1 b GDPR). Your personal data will be deleted as soon as you delete your customer profile unless we are legally obliged or authorised to continue to store the data.

Your personal data will be deleted as soon as you delete your music search unless we are legally obliged or authorised to continue to store the data.
1.3 Licence agreements
If you submit a licence application via our platform based on your registration as a customer/music user and conclude a corresponding agreement with us, we process the following personal data:
a) Personal data
First name and surname, email address, street, house number, postcode, town, country, email address of the recipient of the Sync/GEMA invoice, telephone number, fax number, mobile phone number, and company.
b) Processing purposes and legal bases
We process this personal data in order to process your licence application, to enter into the licensing agreement with you and process it including payment and shipping, to communicate with you about your order and to provide order-related customer service.
The legal basis for the data processing associated with this is the performance of the agreement for licensing your selected title (Art. 6 para. 1 b GDPR). Your personal data will be deleted as soon as the licensing agreement has been mutually fulfilled unless we are legally obliged or authorised to continue to store the data.
1.4 Newsletter
If you consent on our platform to receive the email newsletter from us, we will process the following personal data:

email address, opening of the email newsletter, and clicking on individual articles in the email newsletter.
b) Processing purposes and legal bases

2. Composers
2.1 Applying as a composer
When you contact us as a composer via the assessment mask provided, we process the following personal data:
a) Personal data
First name and surname, email address.
b) Processing purposes and legal bases
We process this personal data in order to process your application to be included in our composer portfolio. If our A&R directors approve your profile, it will be activated. The legal basis for the data processing associated with this is the performance of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 para. 1 b GDPR). Your personal data will be deleted if your application is not accepted unless we are legally obliged or authorised to continue to store the data.
2.2 Composer profile
When you register to use our platform as a composer with your own profile and your profile is activated, we collect and store the following personal data:
a) Personal data
First name and surname, email, password (encrypted), street, house number, postcode, town, country, company, artist first name, artist surname, telephone number, fax number, mobile phone number, website, CAE/IPI number, membership of performing rights collecting society, membership of mechanical rights collecting society, bank details: account holder, name of bank, account number, sort code, IBAN, SWIFT.
b) Processing purposes
We process this personal data to manage your profile and to provide you with revenue or payouts from collecting societies. In order to do so, your personal data must also be transferred to collecting societies and foreign sub-publishers in order to guarantee appropriate payouts and to settle royalties. The legal basis for the data processing associated with this is the performance of the agreement for the provision of your profile (Art. 6 para. 1 b GDPR). Your personal data will be deleted as soon as you delete your profile unless we are legally obliged or authorised to continue to store the data.
3. Date retention
We store your IP addresses in log files for a maximum of 30 days in order to investigate and prevent hacker attacks, unauthorised downloads and other cases of abuse. The legal basis for data processing is the safeguarding of our legitimate interests in identifying and avoiding any legal infringements in your and our interests (Art. 6 para. 1 f GDPR). The log files are deleted or completely and permanently anonymised after 30 days.
4. Order processing
We will not transfer your personal data to third parties; we merely integrate order processors for the purpose of the performance of the agreement on the basis of corresponding order processing agreements. Such service providers enable access to our databases from various locations.
